Following the enactment of the Access to Information Act, 2017 and enabling Regulations, MEDF has aligned itself to fulfill the provisions of this Act and ably discharge its obligation of making provision for access to information held by the Fund. MEDF's compliance started with a sensitization workshop facilitated by the Malawi Human Rights Commission (MHRC). Following the workshop, the Fund established structures that would ensure timely disclosure of information within its purview in line with the constitutional principles of public trust and good governance.

Furthermore, MEDF has developed this Access to Information Manual in compliance with the Access to Information Act, 2017. The Manual is aimed at assisting information seekers in accessing information that is in the custody of the Fund.
